Hello Spicy Lifers!
Johnny Angel and I just returned from sailing away on the Celebrity Reflection cruise. We spent a week at sea and ports celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. We did a lot of research on what kind of vacation we wanted before deciding on a cruise. I’m so glad we decided on this cruise because it was a wonderful time. It is low stress, great food and drinks, fabulous entertainment and activities, and fantastic service. There is so much to cover with this cruise and excursion review, therefore I am going to break it down into several posts. This is part one, and I am just going to cover the suite we chose.
Johnny Angel and I have been on three cruises before taking this one. In the past, the cruises were part of a prize reward I earned for sales achievements. None of these cruises included a suite and balcony. They were teeny tiny cabins with very small windows and little bathrooms. The size of this suite was plenty big. (It’s a little messy in these two photos.) We were on the 12th floor and towards the middle of the ship.
We had a queen size bed that was very comfortable. Not too hard or too soft. As you can see, we had a desk, plenty of drawer space, large Samsung TV, mini bar and two closets with a safe installed. There were two poofy soft robes to wear for the week too. When we first arrived there was a bottle of champagne waiting for us. It was soon followed by a knock on the door from our own personal butler. Armando was his name and he gave us fantastic service. He introduced us to his assistant Michael who would be responsible for cleaning the room. There was an additional helper who only cleaned the bathroom.
This shows the room a little messy, however, we had our room and bath tidied up three times a day. Once after breakfast, again at snack time in the afternoon, and later for turn down service with chocolates on the pillow. We are already missing Armando who brought us coffee every morning at 7:15am.
They also had my favorite lotion, shampoo, and conditioner toiletries.

Having a balcony really makes the cabin suite experience so much more pleasurable. We spent a lot of time looking at the turquoise blue water, sail boats docked at sea, and viewing mountains as we came and went from the different islands.
Wonder what Johnny Angle is thinking about? I know one of the conversations we had a few times was about buying a new boat. I guess after seeing all of these great boats on the water, how could you not?
Here is a link to a video we broadcast live from Facebook soon after we arrived in our suite. We were acting a little silly because we were so excited to be celebrating our anniversary and being on vacation.
