Hello Spicy Lifers.
It’s now been a month since my husband and I returned from a Celebrity Cruise while celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. It was spectacular. You can see the bliss on our face in this Facebook Live broadcast. We are seeing our suite with a balcony on the ship for the first time.
I really got lucky when God gave me Johnny Angel. He’s romantic, a great provider, patient, giving, and funny.
Johnny Angel always gives me a great piece of jewelry as a token to remember big anniversary’s. I like to tease him about what type of ring I expect for such occasions. Did you hear about the ring Mariah Carey received a few months ago from her new fiance? It’s a huge 35 carat emerald cut diamond ring! It cost 7.5 million dollars! You can see it HERE. I thought a similar ring for just a quarter of the price would be sufficient. HA!
What he gave me is just perfect. I love this 3 carat diamond band. All those sparkles and shiny bling makes me very happy. I gave Johnny Angel the same thing I gave him for anniversary number ten. The latest and greatest TV that would fit in our house and meet our needs. And it’s exactly what he wanted. A new big SamsungHD TV. The highest in the series before going to a curved screen. It makes me happy to watch him get so much pleasure from it. He plans to write a review about it on Amazon. Stay tuned if your interested in the future details of why it’s such an exceptional TV.
Our primary love language is not “giving gifts”. (Although my financial adviser might disagree.) It’s just that big anniversary milestones are significant. I think the 25th deserves to be revered. Special gifts and photos bring back great memories. It’s a spicy way to live a fabulous life.
While on the Celebrity Cruise vacation, we had the pleasure of working with a professional black and white photographer. The photographer was a ton of fun. I’m a sucker for the pictures the cruise guys take. Perhaps it’s because I’m having such a fantastic time and the photos being taken are capturing a day in the life of my dream. I never wan’t to forget the special days.
It’s incredible to look back at our wedding pictures and see how we’ve changed. We also hired a photographer for our 15th wedding anniversary. I highly recommend doing the same.
Do you have a special wedding anniversary coming up? What special gift, vacation, or memory stands out right now? What is your favorite way to celebrate? Be sure to give me some comment “love.”
